this is a new experience. I am using one of those webtv computer things they have in hotels to write this entry. the keyboard is irritating me, so i have the feeling i won't be writing much.
still in portland. still learning about research. this has been a great experience- I can't imagine when i would get the opportunity to hang out with 17 of the most interesting and intelligent indigenous researchers-to-be, other than this. we're all learning how to navigate the world of research together, frustrating as it is. i have already gotten so much out of just being around my classmates, let alone being with the amazing instructors they've flown in from all over the place.
i will be home again on saturday morning. it will be a strange adjustment to go from portland oregon and cold grey days to new haven and humid grey days.
when i write here i try to have a story to tell, something to say that will be interesting to read and to tell. but i am afraid that geeking out with a gang of mid-career medical researchers isn't necessarily the most intriguing subject. So I will let it go. no stories today. there will be stories to tell once i've digested this gigantic meal.
